~ Truest Friend ~
Friendship is a wonderful thing
So much joy to us it does bring.
GOD knew we would need a friend,
Who by our side would stay until the end
So to us,
HE gave
HIS own
Dear SON.
In our time of grief and sadness
It is HE only,
that to our heart can bring gladness.
In the lonely darkness of our night
It is HE, who is our shining light.
HE laughs with us in happy times
And cries with us in sorrow.
JESUS is that truest friend,
who was there
yesterday
Is today
and will be
tomorrow.
