Try As I May

My goal in life has been to this day
To make you happy in every single way
I try and hide my stress to keep you free
It does the opposite than it's supposed to be

I keep it inside trying to ignore it there
It builds up till it has to go somewhere
When it does show it causes you such pain
I must find a way that does not happen again

Please forgive me trying, when still I lose
Help me find another way for me to choose
To let my stress and anger dissolve in whole
So nobody else gets hurt when all is told

Love you my dear with all of my heart so true
Hurts me so much when I make you feel blue
Please forgive me my indiscretions that hurt
Help me in other ways to try and to learn
