~ Two Little Daisies ~

Two tiny little daisies
Blooming quietly by the by,
Facing upward to the sunshine
Praying to the sky.

Two tiny wee small daisies
With face of cheery gold,
Oh, little daisies whisper, why
Such secrets that you hold.

Held so tightly to the stem
Dependant day and night,
For roots to be all nourished
In the wonder of pure life.

Fed 'pon Heaven's dewdrops
In sweetest unison,
Nurtured in God's sunbeams
For all that you become.

Pretty in His garden
Of light, where-in you bloom,
Beauty made by Jesus
Breathing life in you.

.....and that will be heaven
at last the first unclouded
seeing, to stand like the flower
turned full face to the sun, drenched
with light in the centre
held while the circling planets
hum with utter joy, seeing and knowing
at last, in every particle
seen and known, and not turning
away...never turning away
again....
