Two Ships ~
Like two ships passing in the night
On high and stormy seas,
It's been a rough and wind tossed start
For two ships like you and me!
But, as with the promise of the morn,
For a bright and calm filled dawn;
With the rising of the new sun,
We found a strong and lasting bond.
A bond which has been tested
Upon 'life's' stormy, raging seas;
And made to grow much stronger
For two passing ships like we!
And as the seas grow calmer,
These two ships will sail as one,
On a new ship we call 'Friend'ship'
And the best is yet to come!
