Resting softly under Gods starry sky
The dreams are only sweet,
There is nothing now to fear
As we so safely sleep.

Sparkle little stars on high
Twinkle every night your pretty glow,
God put each of you in place
His perfect love to show.

As His Hand of mighty power
Tossed you into your place,
So He also reaches down so gently
To caress a little tender face.

Rock us gentle Jesus in Your strength
Keep us in Your mind and will,
For under Your starry sky alone

My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.
He will not suffer thy foot to be moved:
