~ Valentine's Day ~
Valentine's Day is for sweethearts they say,
A day to treat your sweetheart in a special way,
Sending a Valentine gift you cannot lose,
Candy, book of love poems, or roses you may choose.
Red roses are the choice it would seem,
That is the Valentine gift for the day.
What they really do not understand,
Yellow rosebuds from your sweetheart are so grand.
So, if you receive yellow rosebuds on that day,
How special to your sweetheart you must be.
My sweetheart knows they are my favorite roses,
Yellow rosebuds are the Valentine gift for me.
