There's a lovely little
story
Of five children and their
Dad
Who play 'sardines' in the
dark
It truly makes them glad
The lights go out, while
Daddy hides
Each child to find his den
Then one by one, they
squeeze in, quiet
Like sardines in a tin
Now tiny Lucy is real scared
So when Daddy sees her near
He calls out softly, "Here I
am"
Which dispels her every fear
In she scoots, snug, with a
sigh
As he whispers, love you so
He cared about his littlest
one
(The older ones would know)
She really thought she'd
found his spot
But 'twas Daddy drew her in
His gentle loving was the
call
That brought her heart
within
And that is how our Father
is
He calls to those alone
Each one who searches close,
He sees
And draws them to His home
It is the secret to be found
Why each is gently sought
How some will come to know
the Lord
And by His love are drawn

"I will have mercy on whom I
have mercy,
and I will have compassion
on whom I have compassion."
It does not, therefore,
depend on man's desire or
effort,
but on God's mercy....
He did this to make the
riches of His glory known
to the objects of His mercy,
whom He prepared in advance
for glory,
even us, whom He also called
