There is nothing
now to fear
In the gentleness
of God's peace
All one in His
warm heart
As family forever
here.
You may have your
feathers
And I may have my
fur,
I may be from
here
And you from
yonder there,
But God joins us
as friends
His beauty ours
to share.
We are all called
to carefully bear
The burdens of
each other,
For when we are joined in the blood
We love another
from the heart,
As my eternal
brother.
For though the
cold of life
May sweep across
our soul,
And trap us in a
wall of hurt,
God's miracle of
new birth.
Comes now to make
us whole.
Let it snow then,
but we will watch
From a distance
all the outside chill,
For within our
hearts glows love,
For all to enter in
His loving
unity to fulfill.
