You caught my wings in daylight
In more than a mere dream
You captured me to keep
Enraptured me to see

You spoke with thoughts to hear
To draw us close as one
Satisfying every craving
Only with Your love

You held my wings to fly
Among the azure blue
To lift me high above the stars
For You wanted me with you

Your eyes held mine to glide
Up from encasing chains of earth
To live above the past
Emerging from new birth

To turn from empty fading dreams
For reality to find
You gave to me eternity
In your promise of divine

You hold me there to stay
Now within the light
Whispering only words of life
You swept me from the night
